Remodeling the city
Stockholm's own version of the famous NYC Fuller, or Flatiron, Building, a premium triangular plan office building, will soon become a striking new landmark in downtown Stockholm.
An indistinctive area, Norra Bantorget, is now transformed into a vibrant new part of the city. Skanska has been an active partner in the creative planning of the area and as the responsible developer of apartments and offices. Skanska is also constructing a crowning feature of the area – the new Clarion hotel. With 11 stories, it will become Stockholm's largest hotel to date.

Into the play-offs
There will be some hard blocking and tackling to score touchdowns in the next few years as the New York Giants and the New York Jets - two of most renowned teams in the National Football League (NFL) in the U.S. - prepare to take the field in their new home arena, the new Meadowlands Stadium.
The stadium will hold 82,000 spectators including 217 luxury suite boxes for fans to cheer on their favourite team. Construction is under way in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

From slow to high-speed
The Czech Republic rail systems are currently upgraded. Slow and curvy tracks are being rebuilt and straightened to permit higher speeds - up to 160 kilometers per hour. We are the largest supplier for the upgrade. And we are high speed, too. One kilometer of track is laid in only ten hours. Of course, the modernization also enhances safety and smoothness. Essential for the European trunk network, several projects are being co-financed by the EU infrastructure program.
