Norra Bantorget, Sweden

Commercial Development
Oriented towards initiating, developing, and running commercial real estate projects such as office buildings, shopping centers, commercial buildings and logistics installations. Operates in Europe (CDE) Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, and Germany and in the Nordic Region (CDN).

Construction
Skanska’s 12 construction units including specialized sub-units, focus on housing and building construction, infrastructure construction and civil engineering.

Five Zeroes
Skanska regards sustainable development as an important business aspect that influences both risks and opportunities. The “Five Zero” vision- zero loss making projects, zero accidents, zero environmental incidents, zero ethical breaches as well as zero defects - are fundamental driving forces.

Infrastructure Development
Develops, invests in and operates major public private partnerships (PPPs) in social infrastructure including; transportation, accommodation and utilities. Operates in the UK, North and Latin America, the Nordic region and CEE. Approxomately 100 employees.

PPP (Public Private Partnership)
Public Private Partnership bring together consortia including developers and investors, constructors and other service providers to finance, create and operate assets such as highways, hospitals, schools and power plants – through long-term contracts.

These development consortia and the Special Purpose Companies (SPCs) that they form, are designed to deliver services according to strong contractual agreements that are negotiated with their public sector clients. These contracts generally last for between 15 and 50 years.

Residential Development
Oriented towards the intiation and development of residential projects such as apartment blocks and residential areas with single-family houses. Operates in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland. Approximately 330 employees.
