Bringing social development and prosperity to communities around the world takes more than just construction competence. This is where Skanska has its roots, with a long and successful track record. It takes all kinds of competence, from the arts as well as from the sciences, which is why we need all kinds of people on the team. Skanska Summer Exchange Program
In order to strengthen the collaboration between the four Nordic Skanska units, the Skanska Summer Exchange Program exchanged talented students and allowed them to share their knowledge by working on some of the most exciting projects in the region.
In the summer of 2006 and again in 2007, a total of 12 students from each Nordic country spent one month working on Nordic Skanska projects. Three talented students were carefully selected to take part in the program from each of four countries; Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden.
Over a period of three weeks, the students actively participated in building the physical environment for living, traveling and working in the Nordic countries by taking part in building tunnels, hospitals, apartments and offices.
