Sustainability reporting

Skanska has made significant progress since it published its first Environment Report for 1996. Annually, since 2002 Skanska has produced a progress review of its Sustainability efforts. The Skanska Business Units also provide reports specifically for their local home markets. Since 2007, most of our Sustainability communication takes place via this website.

Initially, the focus for reporting was the environment. In more recent years, this has expanded to include all three areas of sustainable development – social, environmental and economic.
