We strive for environmentally and socially sustainable supply chains and have zero tolerance for corruption, bribery, and other unethical behaviors. Our goal is zero ethical violations.

We work for an open business climate where everyone wants and dares to discuss, react, and act on things that go against our core values. We believe this is the foundation for a corporate culture where we feel confident in our decisions, where we know what is right, and where everyone feels they can report a suspected ethical violation.
Our Code of Conduct guides how we act. We also have a supplier code, which describes what we expect from our supply chain and other partners. We always want to improve. Therefore, everyone who works at Skanska is regularly trained in the Code of Conduct and what it means in each employee’s professional role. Through dilemma discussions, we keep ethical issues alive. Through discussion, we have the opportunity to reason together with others about how we should act in different situations.

We know that employees are sometimes faced with ethical issues. Skanska's ethical council therefore provides guidance when needed in ethical dilemmas and questions related to our code of conduct.
