Safety Week – Skanska's largest occupational health and safety initiative

Safety Week is Skanska's annual global initiative focusing on health and safety. Our goal is for our workplaces to be safe and healthy.

A week filled with activities

A prerequisite for reaching our goals is that we all engage, take responsibility, and care for each other at our workplaces. Therefore, we organize Safety Week annually – a week filled with activities aimed at raising awareness and commitment regarding safety and well-being at our workplaces.

This year's Safety Week

For more than 20 years, Skanska Sweden has organized Safety Week. During Safety Day 2004, a zero-accident vision was formulated that encompassed all of Skanska. Since then, the week has contributed to creating the right conditions for successful work environment efforts and has strongly contributed to health and safety being a priority at Skanska, every day. We are proud of that! This year, Safety Week will be held in week 19, from May 4 to 10. This year's theme for Safety Week is Risk-aware behaviors.
