We completed this state-of-the-art science museum, planetarium and aquarium that is housed in four new interconnected buildings with a 220-space parking garage underneath. It's one of the largest, most complex structures in Miami and features a three-level, 500,000-gallon saltwater aquarium shaped like a martini glass.

The unique conical shape of the 500,000-gallon aquarium had never been attempted, with any flaws in its concrete being potentially catastrophic. After three months of daily planning, we executed a continuous 25-hour pour of 1,200 cubic yards of concrete that involved 131 trucks and 150 workers.
