Smart systems

We managed a significant BIM effort to coordinate the intricate above-ceiling work. This collaboration yielded cost and schedule savings, reduced rework, and improved safety and quality.

Bringing knowledge and foresight to every project

We poured multiple foundations and installed two large chillers, two generators and two 5,000-L bioreactors—the largest found in the Midwest and East Coast.

Since clean room walls can’t be patched easily, we constructed interior finish mock-ups so end users could ensure everything was laid out correctly.

When the client asked if our team could execute a significant scope change without adjusting the grand opening date, we developed a plan to finish critical areas first to allow for a phased move-in while we worked on less important areas.

We performed a clean room equipment review to assess proposed equipment, its power requirements and its intended layout prior to construction since many of the items were manufactured internationally or changed due to technological advancements.

Shaping the future

The 18 new ISO 7 clean rooms, three cell culture labs and other upgrades help Forge continue its life-saving work in cell and gene therapy.
