Project information

Phase I of the Moynihan Station development expanded Penn Station’s West End Concourse into the James A. Farley Post Office Building, extending service to nine platforms and adding two new entrances to allow direct passenger access from Eighth Avenue to the West End Concourse. Our scope included demolition and excavation; placement of cast-in-place concrete and reinforcing steel for new platforms and a mezzanine 60 feet below grade; ADA upgrades; structural framing; façade restoration; electrical work; and completion of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems and architectural finishes.
