Project information

The project involved constructing a 23-foot-diameter, 2,700-foot-long combined sewer overflow tunnel with four mining shafts, four diversion chambers and three adit tunnels that all connect the diversion chambers to the main tunnel. The underground structures temporarily store excess stormwater to relieve flooding during rain events.
