Wake County Government, Public Health Center and Parking Structure

Project information

We built a new four-story state-of-the-art public health facility and 514-car pre-cast parking deck that will serve the community as a one-stop-shop for healthcare needs. The space includes health and dental exam rooms, laboratories and collaboration space. We also installed 1,290 photovoltaic solar panels on the roofs of both structures.

Sustainable solutions

The project’s 1,290 solar panels make it the largest solar installation for a building owned by Wake County to date. The PV system produces 560 kW of generation capacity, offsetting facility electrical demand by 24 percent.
