Powerhouse withstands future challenges
Powerhouse is a concept for environmentally responsible construction in which buildings have an exceptionally low carbon footprint and energy consumption level. Some Powerhouse buildings even generate more energy than they consume.
We want to achieve the goals of the Paris Agreement. That is why we must think in new ways. Powerhouse is a pioneer in environmental responsibility.
Collaboration
In the collaborative process, we jointly define which solutions are possible for the specific project. The result of this collaboration is a technically unique whole, tailored to each site.
Expertise
An ambitious Powerhouse project requires skilled and motivated developers, builders, and designers. We have experience with Powerhouse projects, including work carried out in Norway.
History
The collaboration that led to the creation of the Powerhouse concept began 15 years ago at a ZERO seminar in Norway, where participants discussed what could be done about climate change. Together with our partners, we took up the challenge.

The Powerhouse concept is developed together with the environmental organization ZERO, the architecture firm Snøhetta, and the engineering consultancy Asplan Viak.
