A responsible organization
We are active and engaged in issues concerning health and safety, to influence people's well-being in the best way. To achieve this, a clear structure is needed and that we work together with a culture where we care about each other.
Environmental certifications
The interest and demands for environmental certification of buildings, roads and facilities, and entire neighborhoods are increasing. Skanska has knowledge and experience of the most common certification systems.
Skanska was one of the founders of Sweden Green Building Council, SGBC, which is Sweden's largest and leading sustainability organization in community building. SGBC was started in 2009 to promote work for sustainable community building and is today responsible for the most common certifications in Sweden. Skanska continues to contribute its expertise in the development of the various certification systems.
