An innovative and welcoming community hospital

As Gothenburg’s population continues to grow, so does the demand for healthcare. To expand capacity and ease the pressure on Sahlgrenska University Hospital, a decision was made to build a new hospital in Västra Frölunda. The existing facilities at Frölunda Specialist Hospital were outdated, worn, and too small.
