You can also obtain FISE and other qualifications at Skanska’s expense, including certifications for roles such as project manager, construction manager, and site management.

In addition to statutory occupational health care, we provide voluntary services that include general practitioner-level medical care with necessary X-ray and laboratory examinations, as well as consultations with specialists for work-related illnesses based on a referral from your occupational health physician.

We also carry out so-called age-group health examinations for white-collar employees who are not exposed to specific occupational health risks: every five years for those under 50, and every three years for those over 50.

Skanska Employee Ownership Program (SEOP) offers all permanently employed Skanska employees worldwide the opportunity to invest in company shares and receive matching shares from the company free of charge.

Matching shares are granted after a three-year investment period, provided that the employee remains with Skanska and has retained ownership of the purchased shares. As a result, employees have become one of our most significant shareholder groups.

We reward our employees in line with our performance-based compensation systems. Each year, development and feedback discussions are also held with employees, during which individual goals related to their role and personal development are agreed upon, and performance at work is evaluated.

In addition to statutory accident insurance, you are also covered by a leisure-time accident insurance policy, which covers examination and treatment costs resulting from accidents that occur during your free time. The insurance does not include any restrictions related to sports, meaning it covers all leisure-time activities.
