Skanska invests EUR 23 M, about SEK 209 M, in office project in Poznan, Poland

Skanska invests EUR 23 M, about SEK 209 M, in the phase I of Maraton office project located in center of Poznan, Poland. The building, which is Skanska’s second office project in Poznan, will consist of six stories above ground and two underground parking levels. The leasable space for the first phase of the project will be about 13,000 square meters. 

The new complex will be LEED Gold certified, and meet the highest environmental standards, featuring a number of sustainable solutions. This will minimize the building’s operational costs and bring savings for future tenants as well as create comfortable office space for employees.

Construction work starts in January 2015 and the project is scheduled for completion in the fourth quarter of 2016.

Skanska Commercial Development Europe initiates and develops property projects in office and commercial buildings. The company’s operations are concentrated in metropolitan areas in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania and Poland and are conducted in four local units: Skanska Property Czech Republic, Skanska Property Hungary, Skanska Property Romania and Skanska Property Poland.
