Skanska constructs commercial property in Jessheim, Norway, for NOK 316 M, about SEK 340 M
Skanska har signed a contract with Harald Kværner Eiendom AS to construct a commercial property and a parking garage in Jessheim, Norway. The contract value is NOK 316 M, about SEK 340 M, which will be included in order bookings for Skanska Norway for the second quarter of 2015.
The new six-storey building will consist of office space, retail stores and a parking garage. The total area will about 50,000 square meters.
The project will start in May 2015 and be completed in March 2017.
Skanska Norway focuses on construction and civil engineering operations. The unit has approximately 4,200 employees. In 2014, Skanska Norway reported revenue of SEK 14.3 billion. In Norway, Skanska is also active in the development of residential, commercial properties and public private partnerships (PPP) projects.
