Skanska invests USD 116 M, about SEK 970 M, in new office building in Washington, DC, USA

Skanska is investing USD 116 M, about SEK 970 M, in a new office building in Washington, DC, USA. Skanska USA Building is the construction manager for the project and will add a contract value of USD 56 M, about SEK 470 M, in order bookings for the third quarter of 2015.

Skanska will develop and build the new 11-story, Class-A office building with ground floor retail and four below grade parking levels, in Washington, DC’s vibrant Capitol Riverfront submarket. The total leasable space will be approximately 22,000 square meters. This highly sustainable building is targeted for LEED Gold certification.

Construction will begin later this summer and is scheduled to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2017.
