Skanska invests USD 281 M, about SEK 2.4 billion, in new office building in Boston, USA

Skanska is investing USD 281 M, about SEK 2.4 billion, in a new office building in Boston, USA. Skanska USA Building is the construction manager for the project and will add a contract value of USD 150 M, about SEK 1.3 billion, in order bookings for the third quarter of 2015.

Skanska will develop and build the new 17-story, Class-A office building with two floors of retail and two below grade parking levels, in Boston’s vibrant Seaport District. The total leasable space will be approximately 37,000 square meters. This highly sustainable building is targeting LEED Platinum certification.

Construction will start in July 2015 and is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2018.
