Skanska builds new recreation center for Boston College in Massachusetts, USA, for USD 113M, about SEK 1 billion

Skanska has signed contract to build a new recreation center for Boston College in Massachusetts, USA. The contract is worth USD 113M, about SEK 1 billion, which will be included in the US order bookings for the second quarter of 2017.

Skanska will replace Boston College’s existing Flynn Recreation Complex with a new four-story, 22,500-square-meter recreation center. The center’s exterior will match the campus’ distinctive Gothic aesthetic. Its interior will consist of numerous flexible spaces to ensure versatility and functionality.

Construction is underway and the project is scheduled for completion in summer 2019.
