Skanska sells office building in Solna, Sweden, for about SEK 300M

Skanska has sold the office building Laboratoriet 1 in Solna, Sweden, to Ramstedt Holding AB for about SEK 300M. The divestment will be recorded by Skanska Commercial Development Nordic in the first quarter of 2017. The transfer of the property is scheduled for April 2017.

The property is located on the historic site Ingenting in Solna, near the piers of Pampas Marina. Skanska's investments in the area, including the new headquarters of the The Swedish Security Service and the pharmaceutical company Roche, has contributed to a renaissance for the area and companies that relocates to the area are offered a green oasis close to the center of Stockholm and Bromma Airport.

Skanska is one of the leading development and construction companies in the Nordics, with operations in building construction and civil engineering in Sweden, Norway and Finland, and developing residential- and commercial property projects in select home markets. The commercial development stream is also active in Denmark. Skanska offers services in public-private partnerships. Skanska had sales of about 67 billion SEK and more than 15,000 employees in its Nordic operations during 2016.
