Skanska's divestment of its investment in the A1 highway, Poland, is completed
As announced earlier, Skanska has signed a Sale and Purchase Agreement (SPA) for its investment in the A1 motorway in Poland with NDI Autostrada. The transaction has now closed and payments are settled. The purchase price is about SEK 1.4 billion and will be recorded by Skanska Infrastructure Development in the first quarter 2017.
The divestment is approved by the Polish Competition Authority.

Outside the Nordics the company has European operations in building construction and civil engineering in Poland, Czech Republic & Slovakia and UK. Skanska develops commercial properties in select home markets, also in Hungary and Romania, while the residential development is limited to Prague and Warzaw. Skanska also offers services in publicprivate partnerships. Skanska had sales of 36 billion SEK and about 16,500 employees in its European operations in 2016.
