Skanska builds mixed-use development in Madisonville, USA, for USD 100M, about SEK 850M

Skanska has signed a contract with RBM Development to build a new mixed-use development in Madisonville, Ohio, USA. The contract is worth USD 100M, about SEK 850M, which will be included in the US order bookings for the fourth quarter 2017.

The project is the second phase in the redevelopment of the former NuTone manufacturing site. Construction began in January 2018 and is slated for completion in the fourth quarter 2019.

Skanska is currently overseeing the construction of several other significant projects in the area including the Summit Hotel and renovations and additions to Fifth Third arena on the University of Cincinnati campus. 

Skanska is one of the leading development and construction companies in USA, specialized in building construction, civil infrastructure and developing commercial properties in select U.S. markets. Skanska also offers services in public-private partnerships. Skanska USA had sales of SEK 59 billion in 2016 and had about 9,300 employees in its operations.
