Skanska invests USD 128 M, about SEK 1.1 billion, in a new office project in Boston, USA

Skanska invests USD 128 M, about SEK 1.1 billion, to develop a new commercial office building in Boston, USA. The construction contract is worth USD 76 M, about SEK 630 M, which will be included in the US order bookings for the second quarter of 2018.

Skanska will develop and build a 12-story, about 21,000-square-meter commercial office building with ground-floor retail, a 1,100-square-meter public plaza, and 150 parking spaces. The building will be situated in the Drydock area of Boston’s Seaport District, home to some of Boston’s most innovative and forward-thinking companies including PTC, Alexion, and GE.

Construction began in June 2018 and is expected to be completed in December 2019.
