Skanska to build new commercial office building in London, UK, for GBP 72 M, about SEK 825 M

Skanska will begin work on the redevelopment of Norfolk House in October 2020 for its customer, Sateria Investments Limited. The contract is worth GBP 72 M, about SEK 825 M, which will be included in the order bookings for Europe in the third quarter of 2020.

As part of the project, Skanska will also install the mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering services in the eight-storey, commercial project.

The eight-storey scheme, designed by Make Architects, will include the reconstruction of two brick and Portland Stone facades. Work will also involve additional excavation to create a deeper basement. The building is targeting environmental standards to achieve BREEAM excellent.

Construction is due to start in October of 2020 and is due to complete in September 2022.
