Skanska builds psychiatric hospital in Lørenskog, Norway, for NOK 530M, about SEK 540M

Skanska has signed a contract with Akershus Universitetssykehus (Ahus) to build a psychiatric hospital in Lørenskog, Norway. The contract is worth NOK 530M, about SEK 540M, which will be included in the Nordic order bookings for the second quarter of 2023.

The new psychiatric hospital will be approximately 10,000 square meters and allow for the treatment of up to 50 patients. The building is designed and developed to provide the best treatment for patients, good working conditions for the health care professionals and efficient operation.

The construction work starts immediately, and the hospital will be handed over to the client in December 2025.
