Skanska builds nursing home in Oslo, Norway for NOK 578M, about SEK 545M

Skanska has signed a contract with The Norwegian Diakonhjem to build a new nursing home in Oslo, Norway. The contract is worth NOK 578M, about SEK 545M, which will be included in the Nordic order bookings for the third quarter 2025.

The new nursing home will be approximately 15,200 square meters with 7 floors, underground parking and commercial spaces.

The project has ambitious climate and environmental goals. The nursing home will be built as a passive house and aims for BREEAM Excellent certification.

Construction starts in August 2025 with completion in August 2027.
