Skanska upgrades a section of Vt 12 highway in Finland, for EUR 60M, about SEK 670M

Skanska has signed a contract with the Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency to upgrade a 12-kilometer stretch of the Vt 12 highway in litti, Finland. The contract is worth EUR 60M, about SEK 670M, which will be included in the Nordic order bookings for the fourth quarter of 2025.

Skanska will deliver enhancements to Vt 12 highway, upgrading it into a median-separated passing lane road between Jokue and Tillola. The works will also include two grade-separated interchanges and an extensive groundwater protection structure. The goal is to improve traffic safety and flow.

The development phase will beginin the fourth quarter of 2025, with on-site construction starting in early 2026. The project is expected to be completed during 2029.
