Skanska divests building rights in Västerhaninge, Sweden, for SEK 290M

Skanska divests a total of 198 building rights for single-family homes in Skarplöt, Västerhaninge, Sweden, to OBOS for SEK 290M. The building rights are being packaged in several stages and will be taken over during the years 2026-2028. The divestment will be recorded in the Residential Development stream in the second quarter of 2026.

The purchase price also includes the public facilities and neighborhood streets that Skanska is completing in the area. Skanska has previously built over 100 homes in the form of apartments and townhouses through BoKlok in the growing area, which when fully developed will have approximately 700 homes.

The idea is that Skarplöt will be connected to adjacent Nedersta through a main street that will make it possible for bus lines to service the area.
