Skanska expands Hall prison, Södertälje, Sweden, for about SEK 810M

Skanska has signed an agreement with Specialfastigheter Sverige AB for the expansion of Hall prison, Södertälje. The agreement is worth about SEK 810M, which will be included in the order intake for Sweden in the second quarter of 2026.

Skanska has been working on preparations for what has now been agreed since spring 2025. In its entirety, the construction project includes construction of three buildings, complementary buildings, and ground and foundation work. Handover to Specialfastigheter Sverige AB will take place in spring 2029.

Including work already invoiced, the total project value for Skanska is about SEK 890M.
