Whistleblower Protection Act

In compliance with the requirements of the Whistleblower Protection Act, Skanska S.A. is implementing the "Internal Reporting and Whistleblower Protection Procedure" as of September 25, 2024.

Internal reports

In compliance with the requirements of the Whistleblower Protection Act, Skanska S.A. is introducing on 25.09.2024 the "Internal Reporting and Whistleblower Protection Procedure," the content of which is available under this link.

The procedure defines the method of accepting reports of justified suspicions regarding actual or potential violations of the law and conducting follow-up actions within the scope of matters covered by the aforementioned act.

Reports can be made by a current or former employee of Skanska S.A. as well as another person who is in some way connected to the company, such as a coworker, contractor, etc. Skanska S.A. does not consider anonymous reports.

Reports of legal violations should be made in good faith, through available reporting channels. The whistleblower is entitled to protection against retaliatory actions.

External reports

From December 25, 2024, in accordance with the provisions of the Whistleblower Protection Act, the possibility of making an external report regarding a violation of the law will also be provided. External reports can be made to the Commissioner for Human Rights or public authorities and – in appropriate cases – to institutions, bodies, or organizational units of the European Union.
