Our history

The global history of Skanska began in Sweden in 1887. We started our operations as a concrete manufacturer – a fitting beginning, right? Concrete is the foundation for everything built to last. We were driven by two goals: introducing innovation and building what is good for people and society. And these goals remain with us today.
