Skanska Suppliers

The group called "Suppliers" includes suppliers, subcontractors, service providers, professional service providers, consultants, intermediaries, and agents. The Supplier Code applies to these entities – and their employees – during their cooperation with Skanska under an agreement (subcontract, supply, commission, contract for specific work, brokerage, etc.), who form Skanska's supply chain. The Skanska Supplier Code of Conduct (Supplier Code) is directed at this group.

Supplier Code

The Skanska Supplier Code of Conduct (Supplier Code) applies together with the Skanska Code of Conduct. The Supplier Code contains the relevant parts of the Skanska Code of Conduct that apply to the supply chain at Skanska. Skanska employees, in the process of selecting suppliers and subcontractors, inform that knowledge of and compliance with the Supplier Code is a necessary requirement for cooperation.

The supplier code obliges our Suppliers to familiarize themselves with and comply with the principles listed therein. Furthermore, it grants the right, while simultaneously obliging Suppliers to report observed or suspected violations and to prevent retaliatory actions against reporters. Suppliers must guarantee Skanska the ability to monitor their compliance with the Supplier Code during mutual cooperation and to remedy any identified violations so as not to expose Skanska and its clients to negative consequences.
The supplier code is attached to every Skanska contract with the aforementioned suppliers, and the contract should include an appropriate clause obliging the supplier to comply with these principles.
