We want our workplaces to be safe and healthy, that everyone who works at and for Skanska should thrive and reach their potential. We also want order and organization so that you can calmly focus on the work to be done.

Before you come to the workplace

In order for you to have a good start and have good conditions to understand what is expected of you, there are a few things that need to be in place before you come to the workplace.

Connection to ID06

Everyone working at Skanska's workplaces must be connected to ID06 and follow ID06's rules. The ID06 card is used at our workplaces for registration in the electronic personnel ledger. The purpose is to make it more difficult for unauthorized persons to be present at our construction sites.

Digital pre-registration

That we at Skanska have a main contractor responsibility means that we must ensure that rules and agreements are followed by both our own employees and subcontractors. To enable this, you as a supplier need to digitally pre-register your company and the personnel who will be active at the workplace. In the same way, you must also ensure that your subcontractors pre-register themselves.

This working method gives us the opportunity to follow up in real time that all companies meet basic conditions.

This is how it works

Pre-registration is done in a digital tool called Infobric. When it is time to pre-register your company, you will receive an email invitation from the tool.

Pre-registration consists of a company part and an individual part. You start with the company part and when all background checks on the company are approved, you register the personnel who will be working at the site. You can also invite your potential subcontractors who pre-register in the same way.

Workplace introduction

Introduction to Skanska

Skanska's digital workplace introduction consists of two parts and provides a basic understanding of Skanska's operations and the rules that apply at our workplaces. Part 1 is general and should be repeated annually and registered in the ID06 competence database. Part 2 is workplace-specific and is done before each new workplace.

Primarily, the workplace introduction is conducted individually, but group sessions are held by agreement with Skanska's production management. Each participant must then acknowledge that they have taken part in and understood the different parts of the introduction.

Safe Construction Training

An industry-wide training that ensures a common basic understanding of the most common risks at the workplace. The training result must be registered in the ID06 competence database.

Upon arrival

The first time you and your colleagues come to one of Skanska's workplaces, you will be registered. You will receive information about the time and place for registration from the production management.

During registration, you will go through the conditions at the workplace, covering everything from practicalities such as the personnel register and changing rooms to current risks and emergency procedures.

Our registration routine contributes to safe working conditions for everyone at the workplace. Together, we create the conditions for safe workplaces with a culture where we care about each other.

Before you get access to the workplace, the following certificates and basic authorizations will also be checked:

That your company is pre-registered and approved.
That each person has an active ID06 card issued to the correct company.
Nationality and approved ID document.
Completed workplace introduction, any authorization training, and permits.
Any work and residence permits.
Any posting and A1 certificates.

If you do not have the possibility to provide personal email addresses for your employees, ask them either to use their private email address or create a new email address for the purpose. This can be done for free via, for example, Gmail or Hotmail. An email address is needed if, for example, there is a need to reset the password, but also to receive a notification that the validity period of the introduction is about to expire.

In order for Skanska's workplace to identify you and follow up on the completed workplace introduction, your correct personal identification number/identity number is required. The follow-up is carried out with the support of your ID06 card in the ID06 applications used by the workplace, and your personal identification number/identity number is linked to your current ID06 card that you use at the workplace.

We can never know 100% that the content has been read and understood, just as we cannot know that people have listened and understood during an analog workplace introduction. To minimize the risk, we have included a confirmation after each section of the workplace introduction. Additionally, the site management should ask a couple of learning control questions at the time of registration to thereby ensure that the person has completed the introduction.
