Diverse and inclusive workplace

We want to create an inclusive culture where everyone can contribute by using their own strengths.

We foster diversity

Long-term commitment

The goal of building a diverse and inclusive work community became part of our strategy in 2015, and we remain committed to it.

Dialogue

We organise discussion sessions on diversity and integrate the topic into our leadership training.

A shared workplace

Our worksites are shared workplaces for our employees, our contractors and our partners. It is important to us that everyone feels they belong to our work community as their authentic selves.

Driven by data

Through surveys, we assess employee experience as well as feelings of inclusion and belonging. We also regularly examine whether any discrimination or inappropriate behaviour occurs in our work community.

At the heart of Skanska: our culture of care

We know by experience that people perform at their best when the work community fosters a caring and inclusive atmosphere — one where everyone feels safe to work and empowered to succeed.
