The key focus areas of our environmental work

We are working systematically to achieve our net‑zero target:

We minimize energy consumption and climate emissions at our construction sites by reducing fuel use, improving the efficiency of heating and electricity consumption, and replacing fossil fuels with renewable alternatives.
At the very beginning of the design phase, we define a baseline carbon footprint for each project, which we then aim to reduce as the project progresses.We
continuously seek new low‑carbon solutions and encourage our suppliers to reduce the carbon footprint of their products.
We identify the most suitable solutions for our projects both in terms of reducing carbon emissions and adapting to climate change.

Our aim is to generate as little waste as possible at our construction sites. We minimize waste through good planning and carefully sort any remaining waste.

We also participate in research and collaboration projects that promote the circular economy, and identify the most suitable ways to advance resource efficiency and circularity in our projects.

Reducing water consumption also improves energy efficiency and reduces the need for energy and chemicals in water treatment. For example, in our own residential developments, we select water‑saving taps, showers, and household appliances.
