Laboratory analyses of asphalt, ballast, and concrete
Within the department Road Technology Center, there is our laboratory operation. We have thirteen laboratories from Malmö in the south to Luleå in the north that offer material control and develop new asphalt and ballast products.

Laboratories and technical support
The laboratories and technical support assist Skanska's production units that manufacture rock materials, asphalt mix, pavement, and concrete, but we also help external clients. In addition to laboratory analyses, we can also assist with sampling, technical support, investigating problems, providing suggestions for appropriate measures, and developing new products.
Skanska is now accredited for petrographic analyses according to SS-EN 932-3 and Rilem AAR-1.1.
Accreditation of Swedac
All our laboratories are accredited by Swedac according to the accreditation standard SS-EN ISO/IEC 17025 as many clients require that testing be performed by accredited laboratories. The accreditation means that the staff work impartially, have confidentiality obligations, and that all information regarding submitted samples is treated confidentially.
