This is what we think about working at Skanska

We are involved in carrying out groundbreaking work in the construction industry's green transition. I am passionate about creating more sustainable solutions. Therefore, I am very happy to work at Skanska, where we emphasize integrated design and collaboration across disciplines, which in my opinion is the best way to create value for everyone. It means a lot to me that Skanska's workplace culture values opportunities for improvement and personal growth over criticism. We do not say no to challenges, have fun, and solve things together. I also appreciate that we are honest with each other and our partners.

It is interesting to work in an organization where value creation is the focus from start to finish in our projects. In our workflows, we almost always take our customers as the starting point, as the value creation we deliver to our customers in our office projects directly translates into value creation in our business. With projects in the central parts of Greater Copenhagen, the complexity is often high. The high complexity in the projects helps to create a varied everyday life with new challenges and learning opportunities.

I can explore the possibilities in the decision-making part of the construction process. After my graduation as an M.Sc. in architecture, I began my internship at Skanska. During my internship period, I was warmly welcomed into a large and diverse team with different areas of expertise. The support I received from my colleagues during the internship, and the development opportunities that Skanska showed me, determined my decision to extend my stay in Denmark and start my working life at Skanska. A great advantage of working at Skanska is also that as an international company, we have a large network that we use to explore new ideas. I look forward to helping build a more sustainable future together with our fantastic team.
