Pandora's headquarters is moving to Havneholmen centrally in Copenhagen. The new domicile is developed by Skanska and includes nearly 13,900 square meters of office and basement.
The domicile consists of two buildings each with six floors, connected by a glass intermediate building on all six floors into one combined domicile. The domicile is ready for occupancy in April 2016 and will accommodate over 550 employees.
There will be a roof terrace on top of both buildings with views of the harbor area and central Copenhagen, and on the ground floor a larger canteen area and several showrooms will be arranged.
The domicile will have a strong environmental profile. It is built as an EU GreenBuilding, certified at Gold level according to the LEED environmental system, and already complies with the tightened energy requirements for office buildings in 2020 (Building Class 2020). Solar cells on the roof and intelligent climate control help ensure a very low energy consumption.
“It is gratifying that PANDORA is now getting a future-proof domicile at an attractive address in the heart of Copenhagen. The location is optimal for our brand and our employees, and the building ensures space for many years of growth to come,” says Claus Rasmussen, Vice President, Group HR, PANDORA.
With the initiation of Pandora’s new domicile, the first phase of Havneholmen is completed, where Skanska has developed over 75,000 square meters of mixed office and residential buildings. The next phase has already started.
“We are proud that Pandora has chosen one of our new green projects at Havneholmen as the future domicile for their company. Pandora’s international profile fits very well with the area and the other companies that have already established themselves,” states Peter Nymann-Jørgensen, Managing Director of Skanska in Denmark.
Skanska is behind the development of Havneholmen, which is a small peninsula centrally located in Copenhagen’s Harbor. There is still an opportunity to build one or more office buildings totaling 26,000 square meters at Circus Square, located immediately south of Kalvebod Brygge.
